Off the clock,
mostly.
What pulls me into travelling isn't really the destination. It's the people I end up talking to, the history I didn't know I wanted to learn, and the stories that never make it into any guidebook. I'll spend an hour with a stranger just to hear why a dish is made a certain way, or why a street has the name it does. The camera's just how I hold onto all of it. Down here, it's two tabs, pick whichever mood you're in.
I've walked a lot of miles just to own one picture. Here's where some of them happened, and here's where I've actually been.
A few places along the way

Idli and vade will always be home. That one's not up for debate. But I've come to like the questions almost as much as the food itself: why this spice only shows up in one region, why a recipe hasn't changed in generations, why locals insist on eating something one very specific way. I probably ask too many of these at dinner.
